On 21 September 2024, as part of the 21st International Konya Mystical Music Festival, a zikrullah was performed by our foundation’s performance ensemble.
This ceremony, held under the chairmanship of our Foundation President, Ahmet Özhan, took place in a spiritual atmosphere that reflected the depth of our Sufi musical and mystical traditions; it presented the Islamic aesthetic’s understanding, centred on proportion, harmony and tawhid, within an elegant unity. The rhythmic structure of the zikrullah, and the way in which the music and performance were structured in accordance with proper etiquette, manifested not merely as an artistic performance, but also as an aesthetic manifestation of the quest for truth. Presented within the festival’s international programme, this performance stands as a powerful example representing the subtlety, spiritual depth and aesthetic integrity of our ancient culture.
